After closing Corel Draw X5, I regularly get annoying ads for purchasing the latest version of Corel Graphics Suite. Guys, I have already paid money for what I use now, and I would really love to use the product and not get spammed with harassing ads.
So what I have tried now is change this registry value
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Corel\CorelDRAW\15.0\msg
I renamed the binary entry “Schedule” to “Schedule Backup”, and added a new binary entry called “Schedule”.
This new entry I filled with this code: 10,00,00,00,01,00,02,00,ff,ff,ff,ff,ff,ff,01,00
I really don’t quite know whether it will work but the code I got from a semi-related post on registration messages on corel paint shop pro. Just hoping they use the same syntax.
Update: This had no effect. I believe I had the issue sorted in an older installation but can’t remember how I did it.
